Give Peace a Chance
There is no simple answer or strategy when it comes to dealing with hatred.
Belief. One of the mind's strongest assets. In disagreement, and discussion to overcome it, a principle motivator is the way we value a topic and the things that are involved around and within it. Beliefs can be initiated and reinforced by inaccuracies.
An open mindset with the ability to face and calmly discuss with an opponent can facilitate quality deliberation of points related to all sides of an argument.
There are strong divisions between individuals and groups in the world today and throughout history and nature.
Survival of the fittest. Those who bang their pot the loudest will be the one to be heard. Happy wife, happy life. From the largest groups to the smallest, countries and religions, to one-to-one partnerships, the divisions are strong.
Before argument erupts, before one believes their way is to be imposed upon another, the goal of the golden rule, "Do unto others, as you would have done to you", is ultimately important to accept and commit to utilize.
When faced with a discussion of how best to work out a difference, give peace a chance.
